Parents, it's time to stand up against well-meaning grandparents, relatives and friends and shout, "No to monstrous stuffies!"
A 92-inch plush bear sold online in Australia at Target is getting a lot of hate because of how impractical it is, and parents are begging others not to buy it as a gift.
Comments about it include that it takes up too much space and is a dust magnet.
Parents online commented, "You buy this for my kid, and I'll give your child slime every birthday and Christmas until you beg for forgiveness."
The more serious issue it that, eventually, these cute guys will end up in a landfill, which will take up a huge amount of space.
Costco also sells ginormous stuffies, and although I had a chance to cuddle one for a bit, I can't imagine having to store the thing, let alone spend $250 on just the shipping!
I rage clean my kids' normal-sized stuffies so I can't image dealing with this monster.
But hey, if you want to get it for your kid, go ahead, but make sure they understand that they're taking it to college when they grow up.
