2. Women's Hockey Took Centre Stage At Sadlon Arena
Women's hockey took centre ice last Saturday at Sadlon Arena when the Dream Gap Tour came to town. Featuring some of the top women players in the game, it was an opportunity to showcase the women's game and hopefully garner more support for it.
Something local realtor Shannon Murree has been very vocal about since getting involved as the lead sponsor of the Barrie Jr Sharks hockey team, which she says is every bit as competitive as the Barrie Colts are.
