Soundgarden and Vicky Cornell have resolved their legal dispute over Cornell's late husband, Chris Cornell's unreleased recordings.
Both parties released a joint statement to Instagram on Monday saying they have "reached an amicable out-of-court resolution."
This reconciliation means fans can hear the final recording Chris and the band worked on before his death in May 2017.
The statement says, "The two parties are united and coming together to propel, honour and build upon Soundgarden's incredible legacy as well as Chris's indelible mark on music history - as one of the greatest songwriters and vocalists of all time."
In 2019 Vicky Cornell sued the band's surviving members over the rights to seven unreleased recordings and claimed they were withholding hundreds of thousands of dollars in royalties.
According to reports, she claimed the unreleased songs were solo projects of her husband's, separate from the band.
The band disputed her claims, saying the recordings were meant to be on a Soundgarden album.
No details of the new deal have been released.
