One internet troll learned the hard way not to speak for Metallica after the band put him in his place.
It started when talented Bagpiper Ally Crowley-Duncan (Ally the Piper) posted a montage of her playing some classic Metallica songs on the bagpipes.
From what we know, this is a hard instrument to learn and playing "twinkle twinkle little star" is impressive.
Her video features covers of One, Whiskey in the Jar, Enter Sandman, and other classics.
Amid positive comments, one guy wrote, "Bagpipes don't belong in Metallica!! James Hetfield would not approve."
That wasn't going to fly with the band, who responded, "This guy doesn't speak on our behalf. You're awesome,"
It was a small gesture on the band's part but meant the world to Ally, who shared a screenshot of the band defending her. Day made.
