Today is the day to comb through your social media accounts and unfriend anybody who isn't truly a friend.
It's National "Unfriend Day," where you whittle down your friend's list.
The day began on November 17, 2010, when Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel suggested it was a good idea to simplify our online connections and unfriend anyone who doesn't bring joy or causes us stress.
Just because you and "Allison" knew each other in kindergarten and bonded once over your love of N'Sync doesn't mean you should be pals on social media if you never actually talked.
So if there's someone on there you can't stand, or you simply have no clue who they are, it's time to trim the fat.
And try not to be offended if you get cut from someone's list, too.
Happy purging!
