Hang on to your witch hats because the long-awaited trailer for "Wicked" has arrived.
It dropped during the Super Bowl, and fans of the book and Broadway musical are beyond excited to see it hit the big screen.
The film is an adaptation of the Broadway musical based on the 1995 novel by Gregory Maguire titled "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West."
The events of "Wicked" happened several years before Dorothy landed in Oz, giving us the Wicked Witch of the West's origin story.
The film stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, who becomes the wicked witch of the West, and Ariana Grande as Glinda.
We glimpse how these two met in school and the friendship that emerges.
It also stars Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, and Jeff Goldblum as "the great and powerful Wizard Oz."
The film is broken into two parts.
The first part hits theaters on November 27, 2024.
The second part comes out November 26, 2025.
