I cannot wait to see a new Falcor!
The classic 1984 film " The Neverending Story" is being remade, giving a new generation a journey into Fantastica/Fantasia with a film series.
The original is described as a cultural phenomenon that most 80's and 90's kids have always remembered.
Based on the book, the first film came out in 1984 and clicked with kids and adults.
I never forgave the filmmakers for Artax's death scene, but they made up for it.

Producer Ian Canning told Variety, "The story is both timely and timeless, and really has an opportunity to be told in a fresh way."
“And part of the specialness of the book is that you can go back to it at different ages in your life and find different levels of meaning.
So how wonderful that we have this opportunity to do a fresh perspective that will have new layers and meanings," Canning went on. "We just believe that every generation deserves their own journey into Fantastica."
In case you need a refresher, The Neverending Story follows a young boy named Bastian who finds an old book, "The Neverending Story."
Soon he's immersed in the world of Fantastica, Fantastia and the characters of Atreyu, his horse Atrax, the luck dragon Falcor, and the Empress.
Bastian later discovers he's become part of that world and has the power to save it.
Two more movies followed the original film, but the OG is always referenced.
Now everyone sing…..
