This restaurant knows how to spread a little love.
A customer recently posted a picture of the receipt he got when he ordered his pita from CAVA, a Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant.

It totalled $0, with the discount code saying it was because of "Love."

Tons of people commented on the seemingly romantic gesture but there's a much nicer reason he got the pita for free.
It turns out CAVA has used the "Love" discount for several years, which they use to spread joy to the customers.
In a 2018 interview, the owner of a restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina, explained, "Sometimes we'll use the button if we notice someone's having a bad day, or if they forgot their wallet, or if we see a customer who's always in our store."
He told NBC Charlotte, "We try to use the button at least twice a day."
