One of Canada's most prominent and decorated brother-sister duo, The Reklaws, made a profound impact on America’s Got Talent (AGT) with their heartfelt performance, earning a unanimous “yes” from all four judges.
Taking to the AGT stage, The Reklaws dedicated their original song, “People Don’t Talk About,” to their late mother. The poignant and empowering lyrics deeply resonated with the audience and judges alike, leaving many in tears.
Simon Cowell praised the performance, saying, “This is the kind of audition we love on this show.”
The duo’s emotional depth and vocal prowess captivated everyone present. Their lyrics struck a chord: “I grew up playing house / In a house that was broke / I wish we talked it out / Now I don’t know why—When it’s 2 am you’re talking to yourself again / You’re digging a hole … People don’t talk about / Trying to be yourself / But feeling like you’re someone else.”
