The City of Barrie recently completed an inspection and structural condition assessment at the Sam Cancilla Park Reservoir. The report recommended that repairs are required to the reservoir. As a result, the City of Barrie is closing the park to ensure public safety until repairs can be made.
This underground reservoir has been decommissioned and is not in service to water operations. The City regularly inspects reservoirs to determine their current condition.
