News release from the City of Orillia
How can we help? We want to hear from you!
The City has launched a customer service survey to gather input on current and future customer service - what is working well, what can be improved, preference on topics such as hours of operation, service expectations, and more. The survey is open from Sept. 6 to 18, 2022.
“The City of Orillia endeavours to provide excellent customer service to all we serve. This survey is an exciting opportunity to better understand the current and future customer service needs to best serve our community,” said Mayor Steve Clarke. “Orillia is a very connected community with many ways to access customer service across City facilities. We want to hear from you about what customer service methods you prefer and what you would like to see. Please take some time to fill out this survey so your voice can be heard.”
The customer service survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Anyone who takes the survey is eligible to enter a draw to win one of two prizes: a one-month Fun Pass to the Orillia Recreation Centre or two tickets to the Dec. 9 showing of The Fitzgeralds’ Christmas Concert at the Orillia Opera House. The survey is available online at orillia.ca/howcanwehelp until 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 18, 2022.
Should you require assistance with completing the survey or wish to complete the survey offline, printed copies of the survey are available at front-line customer service desks at City facilities, including Orillia City Centre (50 Andrew St. S.), the Orillia Recreation Centre (255 West St. S.), and the Orillia Public Library (36 Mississaga St. W.). The customer service survey is part of an ongoing City of Orillia Service Delivery Modernization Review. The goal of the project is to review constituents’ customer service needs and modernize service delivery throughout City facilities for the future.
“Like many municipalities, the City is striving to understand the customer service needs of the future, especially as technological advances become more prominent and we see new customer service trends emerge,” said Gayle Jackson, Chief Administrative Officer. “This survey is one way that we can continue providing excellent service to our citizens, today, tomorrow, and well into the future to ensure our residents are receiving service when they need it, where they need it, and how they need it.”
