Several calls to provincial police this week about an emu on the loose near Loretto.

Police say the emu was seen in the area of Concession Road 4 near Concession Road 1.

"Officers have successfully captured our two-legged friend but have been unsuccessful in locating where this emu came from," Ontario Provincial Police Central Region posted to Facebook on Friday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Nottawasaga OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
