Three men have been charged after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint Monday night about ATVs driving dangerously on roads in Wasaga Beach.

Officers patrolled the area of Tone Street and located the ATVs, two of which were in the ditch.

Following a discussion with the three male drivers, police conducted an impaired driving investigation.

As a result, the individuals were charged with impaired driving.

Police say the accused, a 30-year-old and a 28-year-old from Wasaga Beach, and a 29-year-old from Collingwood, were also charged with various offences under the Highway Traffic Act including driving a vehicle without a licence and without insurance, and one of the suspects was charged with being a suspended driver.

All three are to appear in court at a later date.
