The Ukrainian Community in Barrie will be holding our 3rd Annual Ukrainian Vyshyvanka Day Festival on Sunday May 18th at Meridian Place located in downtown Barrie, Ontario by beautiful Kempenfelt Bay.
Vyshyvanka Day is an annual holiday celebrated internationally. It's a day where Ukrainians celebrate their heritage and the symbol of the iconic Ukrainian embroidered shirt (Vyshyvanka). Everyone is welcome and we encourage all visitors to celebrate with us and take in our beautiful location, enjoy the colourful performances, participate in various activities and browse the exhibits, food vendors, Ukrainian embroidery, arts and crafts and other vendor kiosks.
