Ontario Provincial Police (Huntsville OPP detachment) have charged five adults in their 20s and one youth in connection with a home invasion early Tuesday in the Hillside area, east of Huntsville.

The incident prompted the closure of Highway 11 between Severn River Road and Coopers Falls Road and Canning Road and Graham Road for hours, as police utilized the canine unit, the tactics and rescue unit, the emergency response team, aviation services, and others in a search for suspects.

At the time, police issued a hold-in-secure, which was lifted several hours after the incident.
