
An ongoing OPP investigation has led to the charge of two individuals for drug possession, among other charges, after a search warrant was executed in New Tecumseth.
Nottawasaga OPP's street crime unit along with the central region's tactical response and canine units assisted in the investigation.
Shortly after 4:30 a.m. Thursday, a search warrant was executed by police at a residence on Beattie Avenue in Alliston, where several items were seized.

- Drug trafficking indicia
As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old man from New Tecumseth and a 42-year-old woman from Adjala-Tosorontio were arrested.
The man faces 13 charges, while the woman faces 10 charges, including trafficking a Schedule I substance.
Both have been held for a bail hearing and are scheduled to appear before court at a later date.
