York Regional Police say two men are in custody, while a Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a third, relating to a break-and-enter where a vehicle drove through Vaughan Mills mall.
On Wednesday, Feb. 1, around 1:10 a.m., officers responded to Vaughan Mills after a vehicle was driven through the glass doors at one of the entrances. Police say the vehicle was driven through the mall to an electronics store where the suspects broke in and stole a quantity of items. The suspects then drove the vehicle out of the mall and broke through a second entrance.

According to police, damage to the property was significant and the vehicle used was later recovered.
Officers say the suspects were identified - two of them were arrested in Montreal and Ottawa respectively - both were returned to York Region and held in custody for a bail hearing.
An 18 and 19-year-old from Quebec face the following charges:
- Break and Enter Commit
- Theft Over $5,000
- Mischief Over $5,000
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
- Disguise with Intent
- Conspiracy to Commit an Indicatable Offence
- Dangerous Driving
A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a third suspect, 21-year-old Lesane Pillay of Quebec.
He is described as 6', 155 lbs, with hair shorter than in the photo and tattoos on his neck and arms
Police say he is believed to be in the Montreal area.
Anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts is asked to contact their local police. Investigators are also appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and have not yet spoken to police.
