
A luxury vehicle stolen from Sudbury turned up in Bradford West Gwillimbury last Wednesday, leading to the arrest of a young driver wanted on a warrant in New Brunswick.
At 1:09 p.m., South Simcoe Police got a report of a stolen 2018 Mercedes MS6 near County Road 88, which had been reported stolen earlier that day from Sudbury.
The owner was able to track the vehicle's location in real time and provide updates to police because to a set of Apple AirPods left in the vehicle.
Based on the provided information, police found the vehicle parked near Line 9 with a male driver seemingly sleeping in the driver's seat.
Through investigation, it was revealed that it was the vehicle in question, but also that the suspect was wanted on a warrant issued in New Brunswick.
The 18-year-old man from Moncton, N.B. was arrested and handed three charges:
