The Barrie Public Library (BPL) is joining libraries across Ontario to celebrate Ontario Public Library Week (October 19–25, 2025) and this year's theme is “Libraries for Life / Biblios pour la vie.”
The annual event highlights the lifelong impact of libraries as places for learning, connection, and community from childhood through every stage of life.
Throughout October, the Barrie Public Library will host a series of events and programs designed to showcase how libraries continue to evolve to meet the needs of the communities they serve.
