OPP are investigating after a wheel separated from a commercial truck and struck a vehicle on Highway 400 on Monday.
In a tweet, officers say the incident happened near Highway 88.
They say the truck was travelling northbound and the wheel bounced into the southbound lanes and then hit the vehicle.
Police say the male driver was not critically injured, but was transported to hospital.
No charges have been laid at this time, OPP continue to investigate.
