The Northlander passenger train will leave the station sometime in 2026.
Ontario Northland has released a tentative service schedule for passenger service between Toronto and Timmins, a journey of 740 kilometres.
There will be 16 stops, including in Washago, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, and Huntsville. Passengers can make a rail connection to Cochrane. Ontario Northland has said ticket prices will be determined closer to the launch of service.
"We recognize affordability is important to passengers and Ontario Northland is committed to meeting those expectations," states Ontario Northland on its website.
The Northlander train went off the rails in September 2012 as the provincial Liberal government at the time sought to cut costs, replacing it with expanded Ontario Northland bus service.
