Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have provided an updated video and a sketch of a second suspect in connection with a shooting in Clearview Township.
On Aug. 15, 2025 at around 10 a.m., police responded to a shooting on a property at 15/16 Side Road near Highway 26, just east of Stayner.
When they arrived on scene, police found one person with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the investigation has determined that two individuals are at the property in a sedan.
"After a verbal altercation, the passenger discharged a firearm, striking the victim," police said in a news release.
Investigators believe the shooting was a targeted incident.
Both suspects then fled in a dark-coloured 2011 to 2018 Volkswagen Jetta or Passat, with Ontario plates.
The first suspect, who was the passenger, is described as a white male with a lighter complexion and sandy brown hair, and may be older than the driver.
Police said the second suspect, who is the driver, is a male, possibly of Portuguese, Greek, or Italian descent with a darker complexion and a beard, and is possibly between 39 and 42 years old.
