
A child pornography investigation by Ontario Provincial Police has resulted in charges against a 43-year-old man from Gravenhurst.
Last November, police began a child pornography investigation, and on Friday, Dec. 19, executed a search warrant at a home on McEachern Line. During the search, police say officers, with the assistance of the OPP Digital Forensic Unit and the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, seized several electronic devices for examination.

On Feb. 4, police arrested a suspect.
He has been charged with the following:
- Imports, distributes, sells or possesses for the purpose of distribution or sale of child sexual abuse and exploitation material - two counts
- Possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
- Access any child sexual abuse and exploitation material - two counts
The accused was released at a bail hearing and is to appear in court on Mar. 3.
