The City of Barrie’s annual Family Day celebration returns this year at a brand‑new location: Barrie City Hall (70 Collier Street). Families are invited to enjoy free, family‑friendly activities on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“We’re thrilled to bring this year’s Family Day celebration to City Hall, making it easier for all Barrie families to join in,” said Mayor Alex Nuttall. “I encourage everyone to get downtown, support our local businesses, and enjoy a full day of winter activities that will create lasting memories together.”
Festivities include:
- Bonfire warming area
- Crafts
- DJ‑hosted party skate
- Face painting
- Family games and activities
- Food vendors ($)
- Free hot chocolate
- Inclusion Zone
- Inflatables
