One impaired driving arrest was made by Southern Georgian Bay OPP as a result of an investigation following a collision on Highway 400 in Tay on Friday.

Just after 2 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle collision on the southbound side of the highway where a white commercial vehicle was hit from behind by a black SUV.

Police say no injuries were reported.

An investigation commenced, which determined the driver of the SUV was impaired. The 34-year-old from Wallbridge was arrested and charged with driving while impaired, operation over the legal limit, and dangerous driving.

He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in a Midland court on February 26.
