A Lot Of Work For Nothing In Barrie
Police say the suspect gained entry to an apartment building but that's where it ended
Barrie Police is looking for a woman who put a lot of effort into a break and enter and apparently got nothing in return.
On Tuesday, staff at a Kozlov Street apartment building noticed a lockbox had been tampered with and keys were taken.
Security footage from the incident on November 15th shows the suspect entered the lobby, then used a pair of bolt-cutters to gain access to the lockbox. She removed the keys to gain entry to the building’s inner lobby door. A few minutes later, the suspect left the building through a rear door. It’s not believed anything was taken.
The suspect is described as:
- Female, white
- Aged 30-39
- Dark brown, medium-length hair in a ponytail
- Wearing a black puffy jacket over a grey hoodie, and carrying a large black shoulder bag
