A break-and-enter report from Sunday at a business in Adjala-Tosorontio is being investigated by Nottawasaga OPP.

Just after 7 a.m., police responded to a report of an incident business on Concession Road 7 in Adjala-Tosorontio. The suspects had fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a dark, newer-model GMC pickup truck with a stolen Ontario licence plate CD49729 had stopped in front of the contractor door. One suspect emerged from the truck to attempt to open the door, followed by a second suspect who arrived on foot.

The first suspect broke the glass of the door, forcing entry through both the inner and outer doors. Both suspects then entered the store and took multiple boxes of tools before loading them into the pickup truck. They left the scene at 7:01 a.m. with roughly $12,000 worth of product.
