Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Ronald O’Leary of Alliston.
He matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the July 29, 2023, ONTARIO 49 draw to win $100,000!
Ronald, a 73-year-old father of three, said that in addition to ONTARIO 49, he enjoys playing LOTTO MAX and the occasional INSTANT ticket. He’s won some smaller prizes in the past, but this is his largest win to date. “I won on a free ticket!” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his windfall.
The retiree said he checked his ticket on his computer and discovered he won big. Then, he headed to the store to validate his win and begin the prize claim process. “I shared the news with my children and brothers, and they were all so excited for me,” he smiled.
Ronald hasn’t made any major plans with his winnings just yet, but he’s considering buying a new truck.
