UPDATE: Stratford Police say with the assistance of the OPP and York Regional Police, 11-year-old Emily Lerch has been located and she is safe. The investigation is continuing.

An 11-year-old girl last seen in Stratford is the subject of an Amber Alert.
Ontario Provincial Police issued the alert shortly after 5:30 Tuesday afternoon.
Stratford Police say Emily Lerch was last seen around the Rotary Complex in the town.
She is five feet tall with a thin build, and she was last seen in a black top with a Jurassic Park logo, black shorts, black shoes and glasses.
No other details have been released.
If anyone spots Emily, they are asked to call 911.
