Apple TV series "Ted Lasso" ending after season three; showrunners say that was always the plan

What's Trending with MJ

Oh, bullocks! Ted Lasso is officially ending after season three.

Showrunners confirm the upcoming season will be the last because that was always the plan.

In an interview with the UK Sunday Times, writer and co-star Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent) says they wrote it to be just three seasons.

They wrote everyone’s beginning, middle, and end when they began.
Spoiler alert: everyone dies, Goldstein joked.

Ted Lasso premiered on Apple TV in August 2020, focusing on the kind-hearted American football coach who takes over Coaching a UK Football (soccer) team.

It’s made us laugh, cry, and keep closed captioning on to make sure we didn’t miss any jokes.

And dang it! The show makes you feel good!

Filming of the final season is underway.

Here's is one of my favourite scenes from the show's second season
