Charges have been laid in connection with an armed robbery of a pharmacy that occurred last fall in Orillia.

OPP say on October 18, 2021, a man walked into the pharmacy and brandished a handgun, then demanded access to the safe. He fled with a number of prescription medications.

On Thursday last week, police arrested a 55-year-old man from West Nipissing and charged him with armed robbery and pointing a firearm.

He has a court date in July.
