Avril Lavigne is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
On August 31, the Canadian superstar will be the 2,731st celebrity to get the honour on Hollywood Boulevard.
The decision to add her was announced last summer, but the official unveiling has been announced for next week.
Twenty years ago her debut album “Let Go” flooded our radios, and Much Music with hits Sk8er Boi, Complicated, and “I’m With You.
The 37-year-old released her seventh studio album, "Love Sux" earlier this year.
Other Canadian music artists on the Hollywood Walk of fame include Bryan Adams, Michael Bublé, Céline Dion, Shania Twain, David Foster and Paul Anka.
