The Barrie Baycats have officially released their 2026 regular-season schedule, setting the stage for a highly anticipated summer of baseball in the Canadian Baseball League.

Fans can view the full schedule here.

The Baycats will play a 48-game regular-season slate in 2026, an increase from 42 games in 2025, as the league moves back to a balanced format that sees each team face every opponent six times — three games at home and three on the road. At season’s end, the top five teams in the standings will advance to the playoffs.

Barrie opens the 2026 home schedule on Thursday, May 14, when Toronto visits Athletic Kulture Stadium for a 7:38 p.m. first pitch, marking the official start of professional baseball in Barrie. Get your opening game tickets here.

The Baycats will also once again take part in a special Canada Day match-up when the team travels to London for a 6:05 p.m. first pitch. Mid-season festivities will continue with the Canadian Baseball League’s All-Star Weekend, scheduled for July 11 and 12 in Chatham-Kent.

Fans can expect a familiar and fan-friendly home slate, highlighted by Thursday night games and Saturday afternoon starts, designed to accommodate families, groups and fans of all ages throughout the summer months.

Alongside the schedule release, the Baycats confirmed that 2026 single-game tickets will go on sale this Friday. The club will also bring back early-bird pricing on season tickets and flex packs, available for one day only on Friday as part of a Boxing Day promotion.

Fans can engage with the schedule in a variety of ways, including downloading and printing the full 2026 schedule here, saving desktop schedule wallpapers here and adding the full season directly to their personal digital calendars here.

Mobile wallpapers will also be available through the Baycats’ Instagram story until Tuesday at 10 a.m. and can be accessed anytime afterwards via the “Wallpapers” highlight.

With a longer season, renewed rivalries and another summer of championship-calibre baseball on the horizon, the Barrie Baycats are set for one of the most exciting seasons in franchise history.
