Barrie firefighters had six trucks on scene early this morning, battling a blaze that gutted a chiropractor's business on Essa Road, just south of Burton Avenue.
Deputy Fire Chief Eric MacFadden told Barrie 360 that crews were alerted about the fire around 5:30 Tuesday morning.
Flames were shooting from the roof, and MacFadden said part of the roof collapsed.
In an afternoon update, he said the cause of the fire is undetermined, and the incident has been turned over to police.
The business was closed when flames broke out.
Fire crews cleared the area shortly after 11 a.m.
