Barrie Police are investigating vandalism that happened at Innisdale Secondary School over the Labour Day weekend.
A construction worker at the Little Avenue school for ongoing renovations discovered the damage on Monday and alerted authorities.
Police say several areas of the school had been spray-painted, including entrance doors, windows, and parts of the building and sidewalk. A glass divider at another entrance was also smashed.
Police believe a small chair may have been used to cause the damage.
After finding a door to the school that had been forced open, officers discovered multiple rooms that had been vandalized.
Police have obtained security camera footage and are gathering information to identity those responsible.
Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to contact the lead investigator via email at 7498@barriepolice.ca.
