Barrie Man Charged After Crash Sends Seven To Hospital
Teen Rushed To Toronto With Life-Threatening Injuries
A Barrie man is facing a list of charges, after seven people were sent to hospital following a crash.
Emergency crews including the OPP, Simcoe County and Rama Paramedics, and Ramara Fire were called to a crash on Highway 12 at Balsam Road on New Year’s Eve. Seven people were taken to hospital, while one of those, a 19-year-old man, was rushed to Toronto trauma centre with life threatening injuries.

A 35-year-old man has been charged with five counts each of Causing Bodily Harm while Driving, and Impaired Operation. He’s expected in Orillia court next month.
