Barrie man has an appointment with a judge, accused of threatening a sex trade worker

Barrie Police have cuffed a local man after reports of threats hurled towards another.

On Friday, February 26, the Barrie Police Human Trafficking Unit was called on to investigate after a sex trade worker advertising in Barrie was a victim of unsolicited threats.

A suspect was tracked down and police arrested a 44-year-old Barrie man on Monday. He faces a charge of uttering threats and will be back in court in April to explain his side to a judge.
