Barrie man sent to trauma centre after 'serious' crash on Horseshoe Valley Road: OPP

A Barrie man was transported to a Toronto trauma centre following a single-vehicle collision on Horseshoe Valley Road in Oro-Medonte.

This morning around 3:00 a.m., Orillia OPP responded to the scene just east of the Horseshoe Valley Road and Penetanguishene Road intersection.

A 22-year-old man was sent to a Toronto area trauma centre.

The intersection was closed for an investigation but reopened at 11:00 a.m.

Anyone who may have witnessed or has camera footage of the collision, and has not spoken with police, is asked to contact Orillia OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
