Barrie man sentenced for two sexual assaults

One of the victims was a 14 year old girl

A Barrie man has been sentenced to 58 months for the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl a year ago near Bear Creek Secondary School, and the attack of a woman who had been jogging along Ardagh Road.

The younger victim was attacked on November 9, 2018, in a wooded-area behind Bear Creek Secondary School, between Red Oak Drive and Farmstead Crescent. She was treated at hospital for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The second victim, a jogger, was attacked on October 2, 2018, in the area of Ardagh Road and Eaglestone Lane. She did not sustain any physical injuries.

Given credit for the time he has been in custody, David Partridge has 40 months yet to serve.
