Working in partnership with the Downtown Barrie BIA, the Barrie Thunder Classics Car Club will bring together 500+ classic models to modern-era exotics. The car show will feature a dazzling display of all makes and models, showcasing the rich diversity of automotive history. Whether you're a fan of vintage classics or sleek contemporary designs, there's something for everyone to admire.
TRUCK PULL KICK OFF! BARRIE'S OWN WORLD STRONGEST MAN - MITCHELL HOOPER - 10 a.m.
Kicking off the festivities, witness the incredible strength of Barrie's own World's Strongest Man, Mitchell Hooper, as he attempts to pull the Flying Monkeys Brewery delivery truck alongside esteemed guests including the Mayor, Police Chief, MPs, and MPPs.
40th ANNIVERSARY OF THE TRAGICALLY HIP - 7 p.m. in Meridian Place!
As the sun sets, the celebration continues with a special 40th-anniversary tribute to The Tragically Hip at 7 p.m. in Meridian Place. Performed by the renowned cover band From The Hip; get ready to sing along to iconic hits and honour the legacy of one of Canada's most beloved bands.
