Barrie Police identify suspects in downtown stabbing
Warrants issued for two Toronto men
Barrie Police have put names to the faces of two suspects wanted in a stabbing on Dunlop Street in late July.
Warrants have been issued for:
- Vishwanath Mangal, age 22, black, 5’6, 160lbs., with black hair, a large woman Grim Reaper tattoo on his left forearm, a Chucky the Clown tattoo on his right forearm and brown eyes
- Andrew Tevoi Ford Smith, age 33, black, 5’10, 154lbs., also with black hair and brown eyes.

The suspects, who are both from the Toronto area, are wanted for:
- Attempt to Commit Murder
- Aggravated Assault
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
On Saturday, July 27, shortly after 3:00 a.m., Barrie Police responded to an incident on Dunlop Street between Bayfield Street and Maple Avenue in which a 28-year-old man suffered a life-threatening injuries stab wound. he remains in serious condition in hospital in Toronto.
