Public invited to learn more about Barrie Police Marine and Traffic Units

A perfect weekend to be by the water.

As part of National Police Week, the public is invited to the Barrie Marina on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to learn more about the Barrie Police Service Marine and Traffic Units.

According to a post on X by Barrie police, officers will answer questions, discuss what it's like to work in these units and hand out free frosty coupons from Wendy's Barrie locations.

National Police Week in Canada runs until May 18.
