A retired member of the Barrie Police Service who took a bite out of crime while serving the community has passed away.
On Twitter, police announced, "that retired K9 Thor passed away yesterday at the age of 13."
Thor served with valour from 2011 to 2019, protecting the community of Barrie, the tweet went on to say.
"Rest Easy Thor. K9 Thor EOW 2023-01-24."
