Barrie police is asking for the public’s help in identifying a hit and run suspect in connection with a crash that left a woman with serious injuries.

The collision happened on Essa Road near Anne Street Thursday afternoon. A 26-year-old woman had to be cut out of the wreckage. She was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre.
Investigators say the other driver fled the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
