Barrie Police Search For Alleged Bike Thief

Bike was taken while owner shopped inside north end grocery store

Barrie police are looking for a Miami Heat fan after a bicycle was stolen from a north end grocery store.

On September 5th just before 2pm someone shopping at a Bayfield Street store placed their bike inside the entrance doors, only to find it missing when they returned.

The Barrie Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect described as:
• Male, white
• Approximately 25 – 35 years of age
• Wearing a black jersey with “MIAMI 6” on it, and a red, short-sleeved t-shirt
• Wearing camouflage-print pants, white and blue shoes, sunglasses and a black baseball cap.

The bicycle is described as:
• Giant FastRoad Advanced 1ML
• Dark blue in colour with a black holder under the seat.
