Barrie Police Search For Suspect After Credit Card Theft

Wallet Taken From Victims Vehicle

Barrie police are searching for a suspect after a wallet and cell phone where taken from a vehicle.

Police say sometime between August 19th and 20th the wallet was taken from the victim’s car at the YMCA on Grove Street.

The Credit cards were then used in excess of $7000 before the victim realized the cards were missing.

The Barrie Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a male suspected in the theft of a wallet and the fraudulent use of credit cards.

The Barrie Police reminds people to never leave valuables in your car and to always lock your car before you leave it.
