Woman threatened with firearm

Barrie Police are investigating after an Oren Boulevard woman reported her car stolen.

She told police she saw an unknown man walking down the street as she collected her recycling bins from the curb around 8 o’clock Friday morning.

A few minutes later, as she was getting into her car she saw the man again, walking toward her with a firearm.

He demanded the keys to her car and drove off.

The vehicle is a grey 2018 Mazda 3TR with Ontario plate BPBY 440.

The suspect is described as:

  • male, black
  • 18-22 years
  • 6’2″-6’3″, thin build
  • wearing a royal blue hooded sweatshirt with 3 white stripes down the arms, dark pants and white running shoes
