Barrie police arrest suspect in convenience store robbery
A man of no fixed address is facing numerous charges
A 37-year-old man of no fixed address is facing a number of charges in connection with a robbery at a Dunlop St. East convenience store.
Police responded to a report of a robbery just after 2 p.m. on Sunday.
When officers arrived, they saw the suspect walking westbound on Dunlop St. East, and he was taken into custody a short distance away.
Charges against the man include robbery, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, resisting peace, carrying a concealed weapon, and three counts of failing to comply with probation.
