Barrie Police Fail to Remain

Barrie police say a vehicle that struck a pedestrian and left the scene is a grey Honda Accord that will be missing the driver's side mirror.

Just before 10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, police say a male in his early 70s was struck by a vehicle travelling southbound on Bayview Drive at Sadlon Arena. The driver fled the scene. The man was transported to a Toronto trauma centre for treatment of injuries.

Police have also seized additional information from the scene they believe will assist in identifying the motor vehicle. Anyone with dash cam video or who may have information on the identity of the driver or the motor vehicle involved is asked to email the investigating officer at:  davery@barriepolice.ca.
