Barrie Police allege a driver who ran a red light and collided with an e-bike, then took off from the scene, was nearly four times the legal limit of alcohol.
Police say the collision occurred on Aug. 6 around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Anne Street North and Dunlop Street West.
After a review of CCTV camera footage, police say it showed the passenger vehicle ran a red light at the intersection and collided with an e-bike travelling through on a green light.

Police say the passenger vehicle left the scene, travelling northbound on Anne Street North.
The 38-year-old rider suffered minor injuries and was assessed by paramedics as a precaution.
About half an hour later, officers located the suspect vehicle in a Bayfield Street parking lot with damage consistent with the collision captured on CCTV. A female was inside the vehicle and arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
Back at the police station, the woman was given a breath test and blew nearly four times the legal limit.
The 45-year-old Barrie woman was charged with a pair of impaired driving offences, and one count each of failing to stop for an accident, rendering assistance and reporting an accident, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and driving a motor vehicle with no currently validated permit.
